I'd love to see some funky green in the mail, too. But I'd settle for just seeing it on Gerson's website. All the bay bits are missing.

Email him or one of his distributors, apparently the website isn't high on the priority list, have you looked at Bustoration?, I think there's bay stuff listed there. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I did look at bustoration and monkey nuts, too. Both say they have the part, but neither one has a picture or says who it is made by.
I'll give Ron at BusDepot this: when he is able to, he shows pictures and says who makes his parts. I'm shortly going to be in the market for the bottom of my windshield. Wish Esoterickristof at the rustywagen was still in business. Dammit, now I'm going to need to find a new body man I trust.... grump grump grump.

I need to replace the inner and outer rocker panels on the drivers side. Parts 10 and 11 in the photo below. And also repair the front section of the driver side rear wheel.
Has anyone purchased these panels from Gerson or know of a quality replacement panels? _________________ Click to view image

Couldn't find an answer to this question in the search, so I'll ask it here. Is there any such thing as replacement metal for the engine bay? I'm talking the area where the foam seal attaches to the body ('77 bus). Mine's rusted through, I can't find anything online for this area. Is my only option cutting up another bus? Thanks.

Schoffield do quality rockers, they are in three parts, inner, middle and outer. All 3 are good quality but a pain to fit if you are doing it right, i.e. drilling all the spot welds and taking all the old metal off. On the outer I cut just below the joint, grind the old rocker off the panel above then put discreet stitches of mig on the joint which you grind off after to preserve the joint line. Work from the outside in on dismantle, then inside out on the refit. _________________ 71 West coast Kombi

Gerson makes a good quality inner, middle and outer rocker. I am having both sides installed on my single cab as I type. _________________ '69 SC under resto

When you guys say "Gerson" you mean Klassicfab.com right? If yes, I went on there and the site seems half put together. How are you suppose to order anything? _________________ 1977 Transporter 2.0L Automatic Project

I sent a PM to Gerson hopefully he responds about the rockers.
Are these outriggers available from anywhere? I have a few that look like they are rotting our from the inside out. They don't look too hard to make from scratch but i would like to save myself the trouble if possible.
