What is a safe notch to lower to?I like my bugs low but at the same time I dont want to put it in a big bind.Do you think 2 notches is too much or should I just stick with one?

2 splines is the max for reliablity on a swing axle bug, that is without notched spring plates of course. if you want minimal tire wear stick with one. i personally wouldnt go 1 spline, all of my cars have been at least 2.

X2

depends what you want it to look like , real low go 2 just semi low go 1 . what exhaust you running stock peashooters you dont have to worry , collector system you might have to worry about dragging ? daily driver ? crusier only ? this all should pay into what you want.

switch to a stock muffler and pea shooters, it will give you a ton of ground clearance.

i'm running 2 notches and a notched arm and it's my daily driver, it's not great over bumps or anything like that but i like the look. the only drag is it doesnt look even like capable of running a header...

ohh you will be able to drive it, but when you pull into a parking lot or a driveway be prepared to jerk it loose from the heater boxes or j-tubes. too many exhaust leaks for my taste.

depending on your hight in the front you might be able to get away with 2 in the rear you just have to be a real creative driver sometimes. Wink

it wont mess up your heat, it will just separate the header from the box where they are clamped together.

yes it bolts to your header and turns to the side and the muffler sits up in the fender next to the valve cover , some say it sucks cause you have to take it off to do your valves but its like four bolts . just takes a minute. it has a nice quiet tone , sound real healthy. Wink
