Same car that's mentioned a few posts up.

9 grand? Maybe when I come to buy it I can light my cigar with a $100 bill to seal the deal... Shocked

Literally a 1250.00 to 1500.00 car.. body and Pan....

Attention teenagers: Numbers Matching means. Front beam, Transmission, Engine, Body and Pan are all original and Numbers Matching. But at the very least Engine, Body and Pan.. if you don't have all three... then don't utter the sacred phrase "Numbers Matching"

Another Angelenos HIGH on the pollution down there.

Not sure how number matching applies to this car, maybe the tag matches the vin on the tunnel and that's a big deal where this guy's from. Never was a big fan of really sharp contrasts on cars

Luckily he only comes up to WA for a few shows. He does the same shit here though... I wont sell to him anymore. Or just tell him the price that he doesn't want to hear. I'd rather take stuff home, than sell to him.

I don't whine often but since when is a basket case worth $12k? I am starting to hate some of the people who have purchased VW's as investments but don't have the skill to finish them.

Well from 9, to 7, now to 6000 USd.

I think 1500 is too high....unless there is a grifter tax.

I think he'll be lucky to get 1/2 the asking price.

Dear seller.

You are either selling your failed project or not. Don't float it your project out in hopes a whale will come along and buy it, because no one is going to waste time coming to see you on a whim. Your rambling prose gives me no idea what you have done and what parts you have used other than I don't think you know.

I'm sorry, that's a rant, not a whine.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VDO-WIND-UP-CLOCK-IN-NEW-V...566d5a7ac7
This clock is from a Goliath. I've seen them sell on ebay multiple times for less than $100.00. If memory serves correctly, these have a 1 day movement. It would be a pain in the ass to have to open the hood every day to re wind the spring.

It's a bad oval window hack into a split. A real split window looks symmetrical. This one droops at each end.
