My whine is with the description: "Almost all original prairie beige paint"
This car has had the entire outside re-sprayed (at least once).
The re-spray looks close to Prairie Beige.
Why not just say "Car has been re-painted at some point in the original COLOR of Prairie Beige"??
Original "color" and original "paint" have two entirely different meanings.
Seller should re-word the description to avoid misleading potential buyers.
True "original paint" survivor cars are currently the hottest and most sought-after type of vehicle in the collector car market. Unfortunately, this car does not fall into that category. |

Agreed, i was just looking at this the other day & thinking. The ad says "NEVER TAKEN APART" yet the front fenders were replaced?
Did they blend the paint on the fenders that well? or respray the whole car? Also, if the car has such "low miles" why not tell how many miles, or some documentation of the mileage?
Looks like a real nice car, but how would it compare against a true low mileage, original paint car? |

This pump is later than 53-57 but even 53-57 are not that much, even if rebuilt. |
Those are 59-60 only pumps and there's a guy on here that charges that much for them. I get that they're restored, but it doesn't take much effort to restore a 36hp fuel pump. |

" asking 9000 OBO. due to the average amount of body work needed to be done to most 56 Type 1's to look the way this one does, this price is more than fair."

I was about to post this, that guy is married to that car for life at that price. There's quite a few totally unrealistic people on here that have posted stuff like that. |

I love the description, "has damage to A-pillar on the right due to a horse having a heart attack and falling onto the car."
