|
|
I just bought a new dash for my Manx, it is supposed to be a NOS piece, and I have no reason to think it isn't, but it is different than the one that is in my car. It is shaped the same, but my dash is smooth, and the new one has a fine pebble grain to it. Is the "grain" dash correct, or is the smooth finish correct? My car is an early, untagged car, maybe they had different dashes? It is an ABS dash, as is the NOS.

I think Black ops mis-read.
I believe mine was also an early untagged version. It had a pebble grain texture. |

The original Meyers Manx ABS dash had a textured finish. The ABS dash was also supported by and attached to a steel frame. |

Thanks for the info guys, sounds like maybe my dash was replaced at one time, it has a smooth texture to it, and it is supported and attached to a metal frame. Interesting thing is that it is exactly the same shape and size as the NOS one, it's a good copy.
