no pics but i can say most people have scrapped the 165/45. not enough tire even all the way on the groun doesnt seem to tuck enough.
145/65 is a a little taller still shorter and wider than a 135.
way to go.
just picked up a set for some smoothies havent mounted them yet.
i've been runnin 195/60 or 195/65 in the rear but wear em out to quick. prolly start runnin 165 in the rear not as wide wont be runnin on the corner so much..
135s up front 195/60 in the rear

sorry to invade the topic, but since you mention that tire size, who makes and sells a 145/65/15, would they fit ok on a 15x4.5" rim? _________________ 1972 Standard Beetle

I have 165/45s on the front and 185/45's in the rear. I really like the way they look. Check out the picture on my web site. _________________ Check out the build at:

I havent seen the 145x65 in person only pics but I bought my 165x45 from Serranos (I found them on here, they advertise on this site) they are made by Formosa and they were $55 each. They fit perfect on 4.5" wide rims.

My cars not gonna be that low, so those would look a little odd..
the 145/65 have a 3.9" sidewall, although those do look good. _________________ 1972 Standard Beetle
