Found one of the long lost videos. This guy has the last video in the rear lowering series.
Better than nothing I guess.

Hi everyone,
lowered my 73 square back as per directions posted here, thanks for that.
I now have scraping issues with front guards while turning, can anyone advise the best fix.
thanks
Bryan

Go to a low profile tire up front, or raise it back up a little. From the pic, it looks like you went at least 3 splines down.

do you think flaring the guards an option, or will it look a mess,
if so do you have any ideas how to do this. |

Yup, that, this thread, and the search function works wonders. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Hey guys, I was working on my car this weekend so I decided to make a short video on adjusting ride height (rear) on my IRS fastback. Hope someone finds it helpful. Comments welcome.

in this video, this guy takes out the torsion bar from the rear spring plate, and adjusts the torsion bar 4 splines, then puts the plate back in a new position, why is that, what he will gain with this? i would NOT take the torsion bar off the s-plate, i would just put the whole assembly in a new position and thats it.

there are splines on both sides inner and outer. moving one is half the adjustment of the other, so if you need a 1/2inch adjustment for example, you would just move the inners. One spline on the outers = aprox 1 inch rear ride height difference. _________________ 1990 911 Porsche C2 (964) - Sold
