Well I guess it's time to bring this back from the dead. I followed the advice here and Diesel"s video but my brake lines, even with the clip removed is still stopping me from getting the trailing arm down far enough. Do I need to break the line apart to get this down? I am trying to raise my car as right now with the EJ22 I am sitting on the bump stops so I plan to go up 2 inner splines hoping to get it back to stock height. Also someone said you can raise the trailing arm and pry a little on the bottom of the spring plate and it will still slip off fine, is that true?

I don't think I completely disconnected the brake line when I raised up my old 71 Notch. I think I removed the clip, and disconnected the parking brake cable as that was what was limiting me. I also had to disconnect the CV joints to get the arm to move enough.
Getting the spring plate off the step is the hard part, as there's 2 of them. You'll have to remove the spring plate cap to get the plate off so you can re-set the plate angle.
