haven't tried them but SoCal Auto sells Ac Industries disc brakes for Things. I have used them on a beetle. Straight forward installation

I have heard that the socal set up takes some extra work to get set up but work well once installed. I have never used them personally. So my post is all second hand comments.

Nah, No extra work for the So Cal (AC industries) kit. I've done three for customers. Just make sure you install the left bracket on the left spindle, cause it won't fit the right! Also... hopefully you know already, the kit will not work with 14" wheels.

I was unaware that it would not fit with a 14in that would have been nice to know that before I ordered them due to the fact that I have new 14in tires well it that is the only way to put discs on it it will have to do.
