painted empi 8 spokes

what color are these supposed to be painted? my ghia was cal style when I got it, but i'm trying to get it back to chrome. so if i had kept it cal style, i'd probably go to black with the chrom ring around the outside.. but now i have no clue. red?? we just painted the ghia(1970) to orignial bahia red.

if they where painted they came black. and the lip is actually aluminum and is polished. unless same retard painted chromed wheels.

i believe they originaly came in gold, black and silver paint. as well as polished or chromed.

They did come in gold, but that was a while ago... I hope you aren't thinking about polishing them That would take about 1 year per rim... the metal under the paint is so porous you will spend hours with a grinder and heavy sand paper before you even get it smooth...
