| what color are these supposed to be painted? my ghia was cal style when I got it, but i'm trying to get it back to chrome. so if i had kept it cal style, i'd probably go to black with the chrom ring around the outside.. but now i have no clue. red?? we just painted the ghia(1970) to orignial bahia red. |

| if they where painted they came black. and the lip is actually aluminum and is polished. unless same retard painted chromed wheels. |

no sorry, it is the polished aluminum, didn't really mean chrome . mine are like a gold. should they be black? |

| i believe they originaly came in gold, black and silver paint. as well as polished or chromed. |

They did come in gold, but that was a while ago... I hope you aren't thinking about polishing them That would take about 1 year per rim... the metal under the paint is so porous you will spend hours with a grinder and heavy sand paper before you even get it smooth... |
