I've always wanted to have a cartoonish drawing done of our buggy and finally found a guy who can do just that. Thought I would share the work he did on ours - pretty cool stuff IMO.

The real thing..

Cool!!

Speaking of CARtoons, we hired none other than CARtoons main man George Trosley to create our poster and tee shirt art when we hosted our navigation rally in years past.

Is it possible to get a ballpark figure of how much the cartoon art cost?

Would love to get something done that we could use for a t-shirt. Those posters are cool Lo Cash John.

Mine was $120 for two hand painted hard copies and the digital version. He said the detail with all the flames and such took a little extra time.

He also sent me proofs at various stages to make sure it was what I was looking for. I can PM you his contact info if you want.

I love the posters too. Pretty cool stuff.

Trosley gets $500 for a color piece or $250 for black & white. The also covers UPS shipping to your address.

I have been a fan of George Trosley's artwork since I was a kid and bought my first copy of CarToons. I still have a few old issues that I dig out on occasion.

Any cartoon art I have had done I go to mcillistrater. His name is Jim and does great work! I had him do a picture of my cat driving my 32 ford like rat fink. He is on Facebook and he has a store on etsy.com. The work he does is good and fast (a rare combo) he usually does it for 150$ or so. He also did one of my buddies 64 caddy. I don't think he has any of his car art on his pages. Email him and tell him Sean sent you. He will take good care. Ask him for the fluff fink. I can't say enough good things about this guy.

Adam Icenogle created the cartoon logo for my East Coast Dune Buggies website, and I could not be happier with both his design work and interaction:

This was done by local artist and friend of mine Chris Kuster.

What makes this so special is Chris is a quadriplegic, so he paints with his mouth. I think he charges around $100 for a custom image.

Look him up on Facebook or his web site www.paintbyteeth.com
