The day we got married in Seattle last fall and set off on a cross-country trip. Lilly (foreground), the love of my life, died the day after Thanksgiving just after we got to Florida. I cried for weeks. |

Okay, my turn to join in...
Here I am in all my glory enjoying all the important food groups at the recent 2013 Hessisch-Oldendorf Vintage VW weekend in Germany...
And here is the 1987 Westfalia Camper GL that I bought back in 1993 with only 17,000 miles (it now has 64,000 miles on the odometer).
And here is my wife Kathryn and I in front of our almost finished 1959 Double-Cab (I have two other Split-windshield Buses plus four other models of VWs - eight VWs total). Kathryn is re-enacting the "FREEZE!" moment in the film "Christmas Vacation".
