Has OG paint and running gear... some issue with it not having side reflectors - what does this mean as I'm not as knowledgable as you guys?
The front tyres are for a smart car, to get that super skinny look...
The brolley (umbrella for you yanks ) in the back use to be to hold the bootlid (hood) up but we tigtened the springs last week!

This is my father's and my '67 karmann ghia convertible project.
The paint job is temporary, we just want a ratty cruiser for the summer. Still a lot of body work to be done.
Closer look at the tonneau cover I stitched up. (our roof is currently in a million bent pieces)
And I figured if it's gonna be a rat, it's gotta have some flames:
I did the flames on the driver's side yesterday with rustoleum spray cans. The design was all freehand, and didn't come out too shabby .
I'm currently waiting for the yellow on the passenger side flames to dry.
See page 13 of this thread for pics from a year ago. _________________ '69 Bug,'71 Bus,'61 Bug ,'56 Bug, '66 Panel |

My fat chick (71 Karmann Ghia) and my skinny chick (79 model wife) next to the beach outside Cresent City California after buying the car in Seattle. Drove it 3000 miles back home. Good times.
