I got these Cosmic rims last weekend, they came off of a ghia. They are marked 5 1/2 J x 15. My question is should I polish the rims or leave them as is? I have gotten all kinds of opinions and just wanted do know what you guys think. Let me know.

If your puttin' em on your s/c I would
leave them as-is.

I think cosmics on a truck would look awesome.
Post up pic's when you get them on.

Oops. I pushed Submit instead of Preview Embarassed The machining marks and casting flaws were pretty bad. And that paint is almost impossible to get off!
But with enough sandpaper, elbow grease and aircraft paint remover, yours could look like this. The paint is a metallic black from Kragen( I forget the brand) over etching primer.

Just to let anybody know who might be attending the Charlotte show this Saturday I plan on setting the rims out to sell prior to getting them polished. After I get them polished I may want to keep them!
