| There is a place in Salt Lake City, I believe, called ACE: Air Cooled Engineering, and Art Thraen does 48 IDA rebuilds there. He has an ad in HotVWs magazine and is apparently the guru of IDAs. You can also ask this question on the forum at cal-look.com, where IDAs are everywhere!! |

| YOU SHOULD MULTIPLY YOUR 48IDA VENTURIES BY 4.2 TO DETERMINE A BALL PARK MAIN JET SIZE, RUN SOME 200 AIR CORRECTIONS AND 60-65 IDLES.......BOLT THEM ON AND WATCH THE TOP END BE RAISED A LITTLE MORE THAN THE 44's COULD MUSTER AND THE GAS GAUGE DIP FASTER THAN YOUR POCKET CAN DISPENSE GREENBACKS. |
