That's some nice fab work casey & the crickets...you should also post your handiwork here:

I liked that fab thread a lot, but it seemed to lose steam quickly...

Can you elaborate on the hole locator? How does it work?

It is used in the aircraft industry to locate holes for patch panels in aircraft. It is like a set of flat tweezers. One side has a male tip that goes into the hole. That male tip has a female hole on the back. The other side of the tweezers had a hole for a drill bit. The two sides align, so you locate the tip into your pre-existing hole, the panel in sandwiched between it and then you drill through the locator's drill bit hole and the bit contacts the female notch on the back of the tip for a perfectly aligned hole.

Clear as mud I'm sure.

Spent some time getting the corner and quarter panel sorted out with new AutoCraft panels. I had originally started trimming the corner for the KF replacement, which is why there's an extra cut. Long story, don't want to incite another KF debate.

Nice job!

I tried to look up a bus on your Vintage Bus Registry but it gives a '500 Internal Server Error' when I hit submit.

Looks like they've buggered up the server again.

Nifty gadget. The description was fine, but Googling 'hole locator tool' brings up ebay links for the tool (which was a relief - that search could have gone very wrong).

Could come in very handy for locating cab trim panels too.

A little premature but I had the seats redone for my 62 and did a little mock up.
