| I'm planning on removing the gas heater so I can repaint it (the PO painted along with the rest of the car). I was wondering if there are any specific seals that would need to be replaced, or does everything go back together on it own? |

I took apart my gas heater when I first got my car a few years ago, Havent gotten around to putting it back together
but one thing I'd be careful of is when you take apart the exhaust tube, there is a abestos seal that connects the exhaust tube to the heater.
I don't know if these are replaceable? anyone know? They disintegrate really easily, might be better to carefully remove it and reuse it
Also with my gas heater all rubber was in real good shape. Shouldnt have any problems there. |
