this car was returning to earth in an elder guy's backyard in central florida. saved it. working on scoring a title so it can be put back on the road. he bought it and the lady never dropped off the title and keys...that was about ten years ago. I do not think she is going to do it...
anyway, his loss, my score:
car has the old style AC system (complete) along with the modified fan shroud (air outlet for cabin has a curve in it to get around the compressor).
Car was sitting so long the fail lights faded to clear. Love that Florida sun! |

I found this on some site about world war vehicles. They said it was dug up in Norway.

Tried to buy this one with a job we were bidding on. We were out bid in the end and it probably ended up at the crusher. _________________ this space for rent. |

yeah I was looking at that one but can't put my finger on what it is and just going thru only that small gallery I can see at least 3 Ghias, 1 green 356, 16 Beetles total (7 alone in the 1 pic above), two look to be ovals and I'm betting there's one if not more splits hiding in that mess somewhere...
No buses though... weird. _________________ ::: Slowoval ::: LaDawri Sebring ::: '61 Creampuff ::: Dust Storm '66 ::: |

I bet they're all sold to the crazy Englishmen. No old Swedish buses seem to be too battered or rusted out for them to restore |

Dragged this '59 out of a field a couple of years ago. Had been sitting there for decades. Came with another even worse '59 that had a working Beck fuel gauge in it! Still hoping to do something with it.... The previous owner had a field full of VW's including split buses, all rotting into the ground... _________________ 1974 "Restfalia" Camper 2000 cc EFI 2001-
