| i have dual kadrons on my 1641, I realy dont know much about carbs but are they supose to leak gas into the carb when the engine is off?There lil drops that go in the carb but over time, like over night my carbs could flud, these are new carbs about 3 months old,they havent flud untill now and i notice that they leak, what can this be? or this is natural???help me |

| Two things could be causing this. Your tank may not be venting like it should so it is pushing/forcing gas through the carbs. But most likely the answer is that your needle valves are not working. When the bowl of the carbs fill up, the float is supposed to stop the flow of gas by pushing in the needle valve. If it's not working or if the float level is too high, then too much gas will get into the bowl and it will spill out on to the throttle plate. Take the tops of the carbs off and test the needle valves. You may get lucky and find out that they just came loose. Other wise you will have to replace them. If it's the tank, you will need to get a new gas cap. |

| i think the float wasnt working, i took of the top off, then i tested the needle, it seems it worked, it hasnt leaked. i hope it stay that way, but how can u prevent it from hapening again? |

| If it's leaked once, there is always the possibility that it could leak again unless you know what the problem is. What makes you think that it was the float? Unless it was adjusted wrong or it's cracked and is taking in gas, there shouldn't be a problem with it. |
