Has anyone bought any engines from Rogers European Engineering? His prices look awsome, I'm just wondering about quality.

...I'm looking for QUALITY - a 1914 w/ extras (like balanced!) |

Well I bought an engine from Roger's European and lets just say the experience was frustrating. If you are out of state buying from them be prepared for every excuse known to man. I still haven't received my core money back. I initially bought a block and sent it back an bought a turn key engine. My new invoice, build sheet, warranty, and core was never sent back. I have called, emailed, and faxed countless request to no avail. Every excuse has been given, even flat out lies that my stuff was mailed or faxed. We are so irritated that we have just decided to take the loss and move on. The bad thing is they are very likeable people and the engine runs good, but if I could do it all over again I would shop in person and not with this company.  |

Had Rodger agree to build a motor for me. Went over everything i wanted in the motor in detail. Had problems when went to pick up the car after about 6 months of waiting.
after 400 miles took it back for a check up and the new clutch broke. Said not his problem. Ok i put in a new clutch motor lasted 1500 miles and the rocker arm studs on one head broke, again not his problem. i decided to take apart the complete motor and found everything he used in the motor was shit no name parts and or use. STAY AWAY. |

| Rogers European is a crook , cannot be trusted in any way. Put used parts into your engine and over charges you for them. He is as wishy washie as you can get. His business is the old one stop machine shop in South Gate California on Paramount Bvld. It is the biggest dump of a business you will ever see or do business with. Take warning , do not do business with Rogers European, I did and he really took me to the cleaners. |
