Very Happy Damn riNR, I thought you were just a crazy Canadian. LoL That was a mighty fine Buggy you put together. You'll get another. ....its in your blood now. VW Logo

Yes I am a crazy Canadian and proud of it! If you didn't already gather that.
I can't take credit for putting that whole buggy together. The previous owner did most of it and I just put it all back together and improved upon what was there. It was so much fun while it lasted. I miss it sometimes now that it is gone, especially now that it is spring. If it would only stop raining now!!!!

Quadracer,
It's like we're almost famous now.

So its been a while since I sold my buggy. I have to say, I thought I would miss it but I don't miss it one bit. I was glad I owned it but I don't miss the work and expense of ownership. There's only been a handful of time that I thought it would be cool to have it but not at the cost of ownership.

I sure am! I've been sailing 32 times so far this year. Sailed on Friday on Lake Erie in 15 foot waves off shore and 6 footers near shore! What a rush!

So almost 2 years since I said good bye to my ride. Miss it sometimes but don't miss all the work and expense involved to keep it running.
Since it seems tabou to wish people Merry Christmas or Happy New Year I will do it in my thread and hopefully it won't get deleted again.
Thanks for the interesting reading and projects to view.
