I remember in high school you would get clowned on if you rolled up on some wide 5 alloys. We reffered to them as "Tough Skins" Very Happy

seen sets of those American Eagles from $400-1000 Average is prob $500ish +/-

I have just restored a set I bought here at Samba. They are going to be mounted next week!

But my rims are polished also on the "outside centerring" where the center cap are mounted. It has to be 2 different types. Mine are different taht the others posted here.

If any have more info, ad`s or brochures, i would be thankfull if you mail it to me.

And I hate when cars use wheel adapters. I have wide 5 fake fuchs on my 67 westy and they look AWESOME!

I had a set on my last '67. They were just okay back then, dig them now........I want to get another set and lose the 5 spokes. Rolling Eyes Anyone??

Use disk brakes and drilled drums if you don't like wheel adapters. Either way I thunk that fuchs look cool. I run them on my '67.

That picture is mine. I sold those NOS rims for $800 in a matter of minutes after posting the ad. I guess I underpriced them Shocked Who knew? lol. But, they look awesome on Howard's ghia with 356 brakes shining thru the wheels.

i have a pair that are machined on the outside of teh center and a pair that is not machined there. in the pic you posted it looks like yours are machined like the 1 pair i have
