Looks nice.

What is it? Confused

COP stands for Coil on Plug? What are the other differences or advantages, is it stock? Never seen or heard of such a thing.

Just like my G35 coupe, and many other newer cars, I think this system is distributor less and uses coil packs vs a distributor. I know it can be more expensive to replace (parts) however I believe they are more reliable?

are those custom fuel rails??

More information on this set up please Exclamation Is that fuel injection? Who makes the peices, (injectors, throttle body, intake runners etc) I have really been kicking around the idea of injection for a daily driver that's not to complicated.

Jeff the ecu is a Redline/034 Motorsport,I got the intake from Antonio Trejo from Mexico. The injectors are bosch 30#,but you can use about anything with in reason from the junk yard. The coils are from a 4.6 mustang/truck.
Brackets were fabbed as was the the fuel rails and the intake was moddified to take bosch type injectors as the factory injectors have a huge body which means a huge hole in the intake.
Trigger wheel, inductive pick up and bracket are from Redline. The motor is a 1776 from Serrronos with a sidewinder header.

Are you near Flaterock MI?I was up there getting some chassis work done to my mustang.

Tim

Looks great! You'll get "dead on" timing with the crank trigger. Do you plan on putting it on a dyno?

The intake manifolds you modified for smaller injectors. What car are they off of? How did you modify them?

The intake is from a mexican beetle,I'm not sure what year, they have a bigger injector body where it enters the intake.I wanted to use common available injectors,so I welded in bosch type injector bungs and made the fuel rail.

I hope that answers your questions.

You think the intake maifolds will work on a T4 set up? Where did you get the injector bungs?

4 Questions:
What is the 1" (approx) tube comming out of the intake manifold plenum used for?
What is the inner diameter of the trottle body?
Are you going to have to remove the Coil packs & Fuel logs to install the motor?
Are you going to run without a cylinder head temp sensor for the FI?

Any updates on this? I would like to see a step by step detailed build up on this. This application seems like it would give good power and fuel economy possible give better emissions as well.

I know I am bringing back this post from the dead but had a question.

I am planning on doing almost exactly what this guy did (have the same FI setup and the same sidewinder with heater boxes), but I really dig his crank trigger setup. I dig how the trigger wheel is machined into the pulley and not requiring a wheel to be attached to a pre-existing pulley. Also love the simplistic, but also robust setup for the VR sensor.

If anyone knows where that setup was produced, please let me know. Would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind everyone. I thought maybe if I do a search in the gallery someone else might have something similar.....turns out its made by 034 Motorsports. But it sure is pricey.
