John, your rebuild on the hinges are "spot on!" Students had a bunch of trouble lining up the doors, but it was not a hinge problem. Those hinges are sweet. Very Happy How much will you charge to do the hinges for my '65 Ghia?

The Weber 40's will require shorty air cleaners, or the removal of the deck lid springs Sad

I will keep you posted as we progress.

The car has been block sanded at least 5 times and now we have to do it again - now with 1500 grit sandpaper. All the paint is on and it looks great!
More pics as we finish the polish job and put it together. Very Happy

The car looks gorgeous but I'm kind of confused. It doesn't look like a '68. The dash is different and there's no fuel flap on the passenger side fender. The '68 had a 3 3/8" speedo with the smaller fuel gauge and clock on each side.

BODY: Short nose replaced by previous owner. Students replaced outer rear wheel wells, roof, battery tray, grafted in early style dash, and filled the outside gas door. A new early style gas tank was installed. Sherwin-Williams base and clear coat. Rechromed stock bumpers, all stock trim is new, repolished, or rechromed, all rubber is new.
