Firestone Walker Oatmeal Stout. Not the best, but pretty tasty anyway.

Just finished a wonderful Belgian beer Afflingen, its double fermented and super tasty. Never seen it for sale in the states but fairly common in Italy (which has a much better beer culture than Germany now). I'm headed home next week and very much looking forward to my Winter Warlock Stout I have stashed (they only brew this through January ). _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

Red Truck IPA ( India Pale Ale)
small Vancouver BC brewery
quote their site
A bright IPA filled with lovely floral, pine, and citrus aromas and flavours. A soft sweetness followed with a lingering bitterness makes this beer an easy drinking friend suitable for all occasions.
6.3% Alcohol and 69 IBU.
Check out how they "cut the ribbon" on their new site www.redtruckbeer.com/truckdrop
tasty brew
cheers

Um.... tonight my personal favorite..
Ginger Beer and Seagrams 7......
If you like Ginger Ale, non alcoholic Jamaican Style (Goya) Ginger Beer is an awesome mixer...
Spicy and smidge sweet.. Think of it of a ultra high octane Ginger Ale. I love it, but be warned (by itself) it hits the back of the throat with a vengeance.

A good example of misleading statistics. The largest market share slice in the U.S. is actually held by "other".
Although, it doesn't change the fact that "crap beer" has the dominant total market share. |

some people prefer not having to chew their beer..or claim how its "hoppy with pumpkin spice finish" because they consider describing the flavor better suited to those who wear salmon colored shirts with skinny jeans.. |

Not a beer but some of Kitty' Golden Delicious Cider
I have a homemade cider press and my partner and I press over 500 gallons a year, for the last 40 years. Our best year we did 1600 gallons. That is a lot of 5 gallon buckets, approximate 16 gallons a pressing up to 60 gallons per hour with 3 of us working. We gave Kitty 50 gallons and she did her magic.
excellent trade
We get our apples from a lot of the old homesteads in the area just to get the apples before the bears tear the trees apart.
cheers

Apparently Budweiser's new marketing strategy is working very well indeed. |
Yeah, what the hell is wrong with salmon colored Polo shirts, mister johnnypants?
My jeans were not skinny until I got a Kegerator. _________________ The consequences of your decisions should not be confused with fate. |

Hmmmm..^^ I guess somebody isnt in touch with their more refined side..
Its nice to be able to actually savor the finer, flavorful and refined things in life..
No way my appendage would ever fit any skinny jeans..
Salmon shirt... maybe in a Hawaiian pattern...
Shitty beer is just that... shitty beer.... no matter the name.
Besides You never really drink beer... just rent it for a while..
So need to enjoy the flavor IMO...
Moving on..
Last night hit my local hidden Gem restaurant where local and craft beers are a plenty..
Started off with a known and consistent one..
Highland Devil's Britches IPA..
It really hit the spot after hanging crown molding all day.....
Good not tooooo hoppy.. A nice clean IPA
Finished with a new one for me..
Gizmo Brewery's Forgeworks Smoked Porter.
Typical dark and coffee like flavors. Nice and smooth. Great thick foamy head.
Both went well with the bone in Rib-eye.. and Pecan Risotto.
Picked up a spring case seasonal from New Belgium.. an IPA bundle..
So will see how that goes for me..
