Hard to find good lights, Batteries always leak and corrode the housing. Nice bike. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

My 1959 Schwinn Deluxe Tornado. A 24" Middleweight Double Straightbar. I bought this bike from my cousin in 1975. It was a basically a frame & wheels...it was a rideable bike and I did my paper route on it for a couple of years. In 1983 I started collecting the proper parts and restored it to it back to the way it looked when it left Arnold Schwinn & Co. in 1959.
...and my 1954 Schwinn Black Phantom...All original except for the tires and chain. The '48 Ford Woodie was a much larger resto I tackled about a decade after the Tornado...Enjoy, Gary _________________

There is a German Car Club Show that I go to that has a German bicycle class.
It has had no entrants the last few years and they should let something like this enter in that class.
Nice car show cruiser. |

Any Stingray fans seen the new Fritz50 yet? Yes, I agree, it's not a "real" Stingray but it's a cool concept that might hold value better than most the repops. _________________ Mike

Not sure if you care, but your second line has a typo. "I" instead of "in".
Cool bike. I have never been into the small Schwinns, but that is a nice example for sure. _________________ nothing |

Good eye, thanks.
I'm surprised I still have it actually, bikes in the same or even worse condition are selling for $600 or more on Ebay. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

Tried offering up some trades for that, miss my 67 fastback, although it was just a single speed with apes. Nice bike FO SHO! _________________ "I have always thought that stereotypes were a real time saver." cdennisg |
