Yes. I have an Empi triggershift that works great.

I've been looking at Hursts and EMPI trigger shifters as a replacement. And now reading about the EMPI I will skip that one. |

Wait for the rivets to pull out. Be proactive and replace them with bolts now so you don't get stuck offroad with a long walk home. _________________ Glenn

Any issues with the SCAT shifter? That's what I've got in mine. It's not an off road vehicle, but it is my daily driver. I've had no problems and really like how it works thus far... I'd recommend it based on how it has performed for me!

Mine pulled out and left my shifter dangling when I was downshifting to pull into my driveway! Parked in its spot, so it was luckily a short walk home. I pulled apart the shifter and found the failed rivets, so I cleaned it and replaced those cheap rivets with bolts and lock washers.
It had lasted about 6 years. |

The Scat shifters (while not my favorite) last forever, even longer if you apply some grease to the internals every so often! _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

If you don't like the T-handle of a Berg and don't want to wait for a Hurst in decent condition, get a CSP shifter. (CSP shifters come in T-handles, too)
And just to be clear, Hurst shifters should not include their Indy shifter that was offered for a while -- pure junk. _________________ Now: 2003 New Beetle Turbo S / 1990 Single Cab Transporter / 2014 Tiguan R-Line 4motion / 2013 Tiguan S / 2002 Golf GLS TDI
