Hi there just trying to learn more about splits, are there any difference between the heater channels on splits to ovals? My split is a 50 and they need to be replaced.

Where the heater pipes connect at the rear, and the front outlet holes are different, but this can be modified.

Also, it's not technically correct to call these heater channels. The internal heater channel ducts weren't added until the late 50s. Technically they are body side members.

The ducts that cut accross the corner under the back seats are also different. Splits are straight, the later oval ones have a bend to them...
