I thought that in the end of the rainbow there was a pot of gold, not a buggy Laughing

just curious but what is the orange buggy on the right in the last picture? The reason I ask is that I know where one is local and just it appears to be in pretty decent shape from I can tell.

That is a EMPI Imp. Very neatly designed buggy. Of the Manx Clones, that one had some real success and are a little more valuable than a typical clone in the same shape.

Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone

Just got this buggy from my cousin with a fairly complete history of it's origin, we love the idea of fixing her back up and towing it behind our Westy as a runabout. 1963 pan, created in 1968 as a special construction vehicle, still has both original black and gold plates and some registration documents. 3 bodies were made, this being #2. No idea of the whereabouts of #1 and 3.

A pic of my Manx up the beach, not a cloud in the sky and +35°C, yeah my air-cooled engine loved every minute of it Laughing
