Seriously nice and rare dash. 66 only RHD dash looks minty fresh. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Erik, I never realised the dash was one year only. What makes it so? (I'm guessing it's the lack of central 'rib' through the speaker grille)? I'm so lucky that it's not cracked!

yes, holes all the way instead of having the missing ones in the center. they were like that for early ones too, but early ones were wrap around, higher up on the sides to match the doors

the only possible mistake I've made would be early N models, but I think they lack the chrome trim. I could be incorrect on that, which would mean it's 66 or early N model only. still very very rare

Peru Green was '68/ '69. before that it was Delta Green. Delta Green used the platinum repp cloth, Peru Green did too but only in 1968.

Maybe a noob question but did any type 3's come with high back buckets? Went back 4 pages and all are low back to where they stop at your shoulders. I ask because the 69 fastback I just picked up has actually high back seats like a newer car but they match the interior, guess I'm curious if it was an option or when they switched over.

North American bound type 3s from 68 on got high back seats as part of the new safety laws in the USA. Europe and other markets kept the low backs until the end of production, but could get them specially ordered. A lot of people prefer the low backs, and install them into later cars, as they'll basically interchange (up to mid 72).

I think this is different for different European markets. Sweden got high back seats as standard from 1969.

The late Notch (1971) I gave to Bob had high back seats when I got it. It was from Canada. The '72 that Fye now has came from Germany with low back seats.

Maybe not the absolute correct place to pose these questions, but it'll do. Are there any fitment differences between 67 fastback front and rear seats going into a 64 notchback? Also, were all headlight, wiper, window crank knobs prior to 67 ivory colored, as in no black?
