So, I can't say I've tried 185/55's, but I have used 205/40/17" (rims are 40mm offset) on a 4" narrowed, adjustable front end, dropped spindles, and disc brakes with no rubbing issues. I did some quick calculations and best I can figure your tire combo with 15" rims will be 482.75mm (about 19") tall and my 17" are 513.8mm (about 20.2"). As long as you are not pushing out too far you should be ok. This, of course is all calculations with your rims being the variable that I can't account for.

Youre right, I apologize I forgot to say what type of wheels. Looking at 15x5.5" slotted chrome wheels. Absolutely no idea of the offset. Im not as concerned about tall as wide. I am already rubbing a little when I lock the wheels to the right on the right side. Guessing it will just be a little worse with the 185's.

Yeah, if you are rubbing with 135's I think the 185's will as well. Will be about 3/4" taller and probably about 2" wider.

Im currently stock height with 165's. From what I saw, the 185's should actually be shorter. 135's = 112, 185/55=107.75.

I think you are correct. I did the calculations again and came up with 108mm on the 135's (with 80% aspect ratio).

How hard was it to integrate the Auto Pilot V2 controller into the airkewld system? I have the same air ride setup as you, except for the dual compressors.

Im looking to lower my beetle . Im aiming for the car to be 2" high at max in the front . Ive been seeing beetles that low running 4-5" narrowed beams . So im gonna have narrow it or can i do fine with 3"? . Also have been told that you cannot run shocks with 4" or more and i cannot afford to go without shocks as i want to fit my monroe air shocks on the car for an adjustable front so i can tackle road bumps and all . Now what should i do? ive seen some run shock towers but some day you cant? So how will i be able to run shocks with 4-5" beam ? . Also mention other precations or points that i have to take care of while doing my beam etc?
thankyou .
