Good seeing you at Busfest Taylor, and especially fun hearing the story about your original RC 10 from your child hood! KEEP THAT CAR! |
LOL! Good seeing you, too, man! Definitely.
You were very kid in a candy store (who'd already eaten a ton of candy) there. _________________ 9th Owner of a 1971 Tintop Westy

If you know AC MACK up in Eureka, he can give you the 411. Previous pages here from earlier years still apply. Same place with the above dates. |

My buddy Paul who is recovering from a bike crash looks to be healthy enough to make it. Sadly the bike he rode in on last year is not. I think my better half wants to come along to mob around on her trail 90. |

Too damn quiet here! Is anyone still going to make this event? Only a week after Mr. Skinners wrenching party might cut it a little too close for me, but not sure yet! |

Think this thing goes off in two weeks. That's how much time you have to get your toy program together, your machine guns ready, your fishing gear sorted, your mini-bikes tuned-up and your Bigfoot Costume sewed up. If you roll by Christopher Moore's in Willits, you'll get all the campfire wood (already split and dry) that you can burn.
Who's got their camp on? Kick down and post what kind of party fun you're bringing to Pillsbury!
Get that mini-trail in the bus!

If you got time... this one is long (37.00)

Had a good time at Hull MT. this year. 2 Crew cabs made it with some bikes to hit the trails on. Great weather and good times were had. _________________

Lets makes some plans for this Oct. Pillsbury was on fire last year . Camping at Penny Pines was fun. Just not the same as LP. I think OCTO is on the 16th this year. Otherwise lets figure out a date. Although probably a bare landscape at LP.

Adventurous outdoor campers: pack that Split Bus with anything and everything you ever wanted to camp with, and load the trailer or truck with your mini-bikes, it's that time of year again!
Lake Pilsburry is 20 Miles north of Clear Lake in the Mendocino National Forest. Try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Pillsbury
The sixteenth -annual Hull Of A Campout promises to be all the party it's been in the past and more. A camping/social bus event at Lake Pillsburry in the Mendocino National Forest, HOCO combines a deep woods Split-bus camping/mini-bike/fishing event with an off-road challenge: drive up and over Hull Mountain (6800') all the way to -or from- Covelo, Highway 162, to 101 -or 5- and home (all drivable forest service roads). So far, only three buses have actually pulled-off that part of the adventure, so if you're feeling frisky, it's literally part of the Mt. Shasta Snow Trip -impossible in the Winter due to high-altitude snow.
Friday and Saturday are filled with anything and everything you want to do. A designated Off Highway Vehicle area, the Lake Pillsbury basin teams with never-ending 4x4 dirt bike and mountain bike trails, hiking trails, etc. Camped on the side of the lake, fishing is available for tenacious anglers too, with the potential for bass and huge trout.
Fun for all, count on big bon fires, mini-bike racing, animal stories (including Bigfoot who regularly visits in the dark of night), and an overall super-fun adventure. Of course it's a free event, keep that bread for camp food and feeding the bears!
Come on out and camp! _________________ 1959 Model M1: 118

I’d be into going, hopefully in the cooler temps of later October ... when there could be seen a witch whisk across the night sky. |
