I have been working on these for a while. This is the 1st prototype. Inside parts are not in it yet.

Anyone have some available or know where I can get the tabs for the quarter light windows for my 53.

Does anybody make a reproduction of the wiper shafts that go through in the front panel?
The uppermost in the pic:

KK have safari ones
Safari Wiper Shafts '55>'64
Safari Wiper Shafts, these are the real deal, rather than the type that fit externally. Just replace the complete shaft with one of these and the wipers become spring loaded allowing you to move them out of the way of the Safari’s. They fit 1955 > '64, they will not work for '65 > '67 Buses as the Shafts are of a totally different design. They can also be used on Barndoors but will need to be lengthened. Sold as a Pair.

Something I've been playing with for a little while almost done with them
The brass shaft that you see next to it is an original barndoor one _________________ (20-024785)Ambulance (20-037784)truck (20-035850)panel

I bought a pair of repro safari pivots (not sure of manufacturer) from a member here & ended up returning them. The repros might have worked?...but I just didn't want to deal with multiple attempts at getting a good pair. Buy OG if you can. Maybe ask around a bit regarding quality/functionality before springing for a repro pair.
The originals have a small vertical pin in the lower round part extending into the flat plate swiveling part at the bottom.... helping to keep the assembly rigid when in use and are generally beefier... the repro pair I had didn't have the pin & were kinda flimsy overall. Note the material thickness differences in the video.... and how the repro one sags when I begin depressing the shaft upwards... sloppy fit. Maybe click the icon in the lower right of the YouTube window & make it full screen.
