If I had that much time on my hands to make stupid labels I'd shoot myself. _________________

I am truly wounded by your rapier-like wit; and it's now 2097, thank you very much. _________________

My 56 oval had a full set of these stickers too! They were pretty beatup though. Several years ago I came across some site where they were selling reprints of them, but I no longer have the name of the company. |

As someone noted above...it was both JC Whitney and Warshawskys....I was a customer of JC Whitney in '63 with my first new VW (a '63 bug)...but I also got Warshawskys catalogs along with Whitneys every two weeks for what seeks like a lifetime. |

Has anyone reproduced these?
Kinda like to have a set for my ragged out '65 Convertible, just for laughs.
I might just have some made up.

One of the many (weren't those the days...) local auto parts houses when i was a kid in the 70s had a wall of VW/Empi stuff, and i remember sets of those being sold along side beetle vent chrome strips, etc. I also found some old sets of those among an old VW shop I helped clean out in the late 80s.
Now they are a fashionable 'period accessory'... |
