How's this sound:
1974
Older abandoned resoration
Clean body
Has motor, tranny Both need attention
No seats
Missing turn signal lights.
Fiberglass top
listed for 850$
Ummm that's all I remember.

Are there any differences between the years of things? I really don't know much about these.

In a nutshell

A 1973 will have vents in the rear engine compartment, a 1974 will have "ear muffs" in the back. A 73 will also have a gas heater in the hood area, and the 74 will have heater boxes in the engine compartment.

Those are the major differences in American models (73-74), once you start getting into the earlier 181s you'll see swing axles, gear reduction boxes, etc.

As for the price, that sounds like a really great deal, just watch out for rust spots in the rockers and floorpans
