Yeah but, how about that high-tech "instamatic" camera. 110 cartridge film. Yowza!! not quite digital dvd movies but you could take pictures at a tennis game (or so the ad claims)

The worst thing about that 110 camera ad is that it says it costs "Less than $68," which equates to about $300 in today's dollars! Anyone who's owned a 110 camera knows how scary that is.

Especially if you consider that a 5 megapixal camera can be had for $30 today...

I remember paying $70 for a desktop, plug-in-only calculator back in the day which did all of the following:
- add
- subtract
- multiply
- divide
- turn on and off

Now, you can get graphing calculators from Texas Instruments that does stuff I don't even understand -- and math was one of my double-majors -- for the same (non-price indexed) price.
