I just installed my 44idf's that I received from ACE and they run great but I now have one of the same problems that I had before. The carbs are new spanish idf's and they both leak fuel from the accelerator pump, pools on the spring then drips down. When I first received the turnkey engine they also leaked, I sent the carbs to ACE because the engine did not quite run right. Now it runs great but the same issue with the fuel leak started on about the third day of driving. This is kind of annoying not to mention I don't like fuel leaking in the engine compartment, don't care to burn the car down. What could cause this to happen, I have to assume that they did not leak when the engine was first built and I know that they did not leak when I fdirst received them back. My fuel pressure is just below 3psi, closer to 2.5. |

Have you talked to Art about this?
A quick check would be to make sure the screws on the accel pump cover are tight. |

Screws have either come loose (not sealing) or the diaphrams have ruptured. _________________ 42 year old technology & still kicking butt. |
