Andy mailed out my shortend tie rods, and I only received the short one.
There was a tear in the packaging tape and the large rod had been taken out (tape holding them together was torn as well). I took pictures and emailed Andy the day I received the package. He is quick to respond, and agreed to send me another ASAP. I offered to pay freight so we both would be out too much money, but he never did say how much it was to ship them. I received the long rod today (one week from original purchase). He is a great seller, and I will buy from him again for all of my beam needs. I have a friend that also buys from him, and he too is very satisfied!!

Oh yeah, his craftsmanship is Awesome!

let me tell you about the first one.....Well I wasn't sure if I wanted to man up so I had him build me a 6" I now I should have maned up but i didn't I went with the 6 incher mounted it up and took the vw industries biggest narrowed beam hater for a ride and even he was impressed. The stink bug rode really nice it didn't pull or bounce around like you would think i felt like I was drivin the worlds first vw caddilac!! Then I figured it was time to man up and get some disc brakes well there gonna push the wheel out so that means you gotta go narrower right? Little buggy hooked me up with a 7 incher thats right laddys and gents a motorhome!! And it was hand delivered to the shop you loose a little turning radius but if you know where your going those sharp turns will never haunt you. I think the next bug will have a 6 incher to

Looks like Andy's back to his old ways. Purchased a 5" narrowed beam and tie rod combo for $265. He said beam/tie rods would be shipped following day after purchase. Going on 2 weeks now and still no beam/tie rods. Doesn't even respond when asked for a tracking number, update info or even a refund, just said "you'll get your beam." My fault I guess, should have known after reading his feedback Rolling Eyes

. But now I'm out $265 (for now), no beam and the front end of my bug torn down! Filed a dispute with PayPal. Just be careful when sending this guy your hard earned money!

I'm not trying to argue or slam anyone. This is a feedback thread and that's all I'm posting, truthfully. There was a dispute filed with PayPal but that has since been canceled. No need to repost previous replies.

And yes I could have contacted you and sent the beam back but at this point I will just deal with the beam for now. Enough time has been wasted and honestly I'm done dealing with you.

I think communication was key here. This whole ordeal could have been avoided if you would have just keep in contact with me with details on my purchase. But when you take people's money, don't deliver a product on time like promised and ignore them when they try contacting you about the product, that's when things escalate. I don't know you and I don't know what your intentions were so I did what I though was necessary.

Bottom line is, I got my beam, you got your money. Good luck in the future.

Ordered a 4.5" ball joint beam --Everything happened just like it was supposed to !! E-mailed, paid, got tracking #, beam arrived. Gotta say nice welds.

Just want to say thank you to Andy! I read all of the feedback on this thread before I contacted him and was a little worried. Then I looked at his more recent feedback from the last couple years (which was much more positive) and took a chance. He seems like a great guy with an honest way to support his VW hobby. Glad i did. I Ordered the beam on Thursday and received it from FedEx on the following Wednesday. Outstanding quality, great welds, great price, and fast shipping. Couldn't have been a better experience. Buy with confidence.

Got my beam in the mail today. I emailed Andy what I wanted, he emailed me back, paid him through PayPal, and I got my beam in a week. Looks quality especially for his price compared to all the others for sale. Thanks!
