Yeah, I did that once too and swore I'd never to do it again...
Now I hate that they actually fit because I'll always know I could do it again if I needed to...

Easy solution: Dodge Grand Caravan. Our '87 Westy is a third vehicle, leaving the more mundane conveyances for dreary chores like drayage. The GC will take a 4x8 sheet flat on the floor with the hatch closed and the Westy need not suffer. I would use the Westy for this if I had to but would dread it.

It's a Canon t2i with a 50mm f1.4 lens.
I'm running Magic Lantern which is a hacked firmware that adds a ton of features, including the intervelometer (thing that takes pictures repeatedly at set intervals).

This video is 186 exposures taken every minute (until the battery died). For each frame, the shutter is open 30seconds at ISO 200 and f1.4. I did raw conversion and post-processing in Lightroom where I mostly masked off and darkened the sky, and then stitched the exported frames together using ffmpeg on the command-line.

Here's a single frame I took at 2 minutes exposure when I was getting it set up:

The weather was pretty nice last weekend so we took Nana out to a state park close to home for a little camping.

I like the stars in your time lapse. Canons are good in that you can use the memory card to start the camera with alternate software to customise the features. Used to do it doing aerials from my rc heli.

Doing some kayaking and exploring in "the real" Florida...up around Crystal River and Ozello...great roads and lots of solitude to be had if you look for it.

Tuesday @Ingathevanagon didn't like the cold weather here on the outer banks and decided to Leak coolant all over Virginia Dare Trail road on the way to work...... Pulled over to find out that my hoses to and from my oil cooler had fully rotted and cracked due to the age of them and the conditions being the straw that broke the "Vanagons Back". Good thing i pulled over when i did. Had it towed to local shop and they replaced the hoses, just got it back today

Took me up to Staunton VA on a frigid and windy day to see the arrival of a load of NAHT high roofs at Valley Westys, the area vendor. Got to meet the ValWes crew and J Charlton of NAHT and got to see one of the older tops in mid-install (pix below). I've seen an AW top before but wanted to see one of these so it was worth the drive.
