What is a good, easy to understand manual/reference for the novice I could use to replace my front end?

The parts manual with the exploding diagrams would probably be most helpful:

Mine was made by a different company and doesn't look like it's in the same order as this one, but it should all be the same stuff

The parts manual won't tell you what bolts need to be torqued and to what setting.

Get a repair manual.

By "front end" are you taking about the body, or the front suspension?

I was under the impression that he wanted to swap the front clip, but yes if it is the suspension/front beam then the service manual would be best... it's pricey on TTS and GMW and what not, but it's worth it
