Looks good. I am picking my body up this week. Are you happy with the quality? Keep the pics coming.
Thanks

| Quality is excellent! I only wish I could find someone local to clear coat the gel coat. |

Nice buggy..why did VW make their taillights bigger and bigger every few years? I'd go with 65-67 style taillights _________________ 1969 Empi Imp #1325

Looks great! But I can't love the elephant feet. Sorry.
The white plastic strip is a really cool idea though! _________________ Air Riders, VW Club |

You are refering to sliding the frame over the hidden bolts? It was a sweaty moment! It started with bending the passenger side, that was something... Next, I decided to use oversize carrige bolts that I machined to fit snug inside the groove. It could go down a little on the passenger side a little more.
As for the fuse box, I still need to mount it. The plan is to use a GM glovebox latch and a piano hinge to hide the box inside the hood.
I'm planning to use the passenger side to have a glove box.

About 200 miles. Apart from having forgotten to tighten the steering wheel, and checking why the fuel and volt gauge read zero, I can say I'm happy!
