I think I see a kinked piece of tubing
Looks good, you are way too ambitious.
BTW I'm doing a little garage straightening because of rain. Just came in for a break. |

70 and humid/hot. (read with wind chill factor it feels like 95) It's only raining one place in the whole state. Lucky me. I guess I should quit complaining it has stopped raining so now it is just hot and humid. |

Very Nice work......looks great.......why did you choose to build your own chassis and cage, instead of using Hawkeye's?
Did you sell your Orange buggy? ...I really like that buggy... _________________ Darren (aka Mr. B)

This is one high quality build.
I like the way you widened the front beam, sank the floor, Volvo Master resevoir, beefy trailing arms for the rear. I also like that second hoop on your cage, the compound bends that hug the body real close.
Very well thought out. It is a joy being able to say, I built it all. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone |

aquamanx, I have been told that in Texas ALL the property is privately owned so there is no place to off road, that is why everyone (most) builds street buggies. Have you had a chance to use the orange buggy off road? and if you can't off road, why are you doing this one with an off road theme, ??....cause ya like them??? _________________ Darren (aka Mr. B)

Let me know what y'all think.
joescoolcustoms, Thanks

I like the bumper, with the exception of the top hoop might look better..IMO...if it were stretched out a bit. To me it looks a little bit Jeepish, or 4x4ish.
Remember that other thread where I said I would like to have a 1" die for side bars, dash etc.....this is another area I think it would have a good place, two different size tubes looks nice.....again....IMO... _________________ Darren (aka Mr. B)

aquamanx .....here are a couple LONG body buggies.......IMO a longer (wider) bumper looks good on them because the buggy itself is larger.
note: it looks like these were built with one size tube.
On another note, what size tube is that front bumper?....1.5".......it is funny to me how the tube looks bigger in pictures.......
Anyway, you know what you want, just thought I would throw these your way for the hell of it.....

tons...and its actually finished now but i think the seal in the turbos blown so im focusing all my attention on that before i post all pics and a huge thanks topic. Is that a mgm body? and lifting the pan/ droping the rear torsion is flipin awsome... the green body above is a mid travel body, bigger then yours, but el lobos is the same. If you want tons of pics of his build ill post the link for ya, lemme know. _________________ Done...kinda |

I like the bumper too. I also think the hoop would look better wider at the base.
Here is mine. what you cant see is it tilts back to the body.
It looks kinda strange from this shoot
