I'm hoping to finish pulling all the non essential interior stuff this weekend and finish prepping for the welding that will happen this fall for a legal cage. Also, I need to swap the CMS wheels from the notch to the speedster. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Looking to confuse people further by replacing the hood's VW emblem with this:

So excited to be able to get to the car again tonight. I have to finish the interior tear down and take a bunch of measurements. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Looks like I am going to have to come up with a custom exhaust to replace the midengine unit there now. I will be smart this time. I will tack it together and then let a real welder finish it off! No pin holes all over the place this time. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

So what's with the badge, Homey? Short for FuBaR? _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Well that is pretty. Are we selling these to offset your Yugo purchase or to support your other habits? _________________ I think he meant "rare", as in "not well-done" |

I'm not selling them. They go on my cars. Get ahold of John Jaranson, if you are interested in something like them. He designed them off of my ideas and did the cutting. I will get to do the polishing and mounting. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Nope, No access to cool toys like that. I wish, as I have many other things I would like to cut for car projects. The wallet will run out far before the ideas! _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Wow, almost a year later...
Tonight I put the top end, carbs and tin back on the longblock. Later tonight I will put some wheels back under it while charging the battery and then I will see if it fires off again. If so, Friday night I will go for a drive to double check the engine, brakes and lights. If all good, I will head out for a long drive and see if I can get the fire back to drive it again. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Battery was taking a charge, but needed more trickle before firing. But, it should be good to go tonight for the drive. I have about 1/2 gallon of gunky fuel to burn off. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"
