Never heard of a "Class 11".
I'm guessing from the pic's it is some sort of off road jacked up bug.
Yes?
By the way it is refreshing to see a VW with some Big Meats! _________________ Call your Cunado's:

You've got it!
That is the official offroad class for that type of baja. Class 11.
Its pretty much a Stock beetle with nothing but raised suspension and big tires.
- Must have STOCK bodyparts, no wide fenders etc..
- Must have STOCK wheels... no wide wheels
- Must be bumpered.
etc.. etc.. I like em much better than your average baja! _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. Since 2004 • |

I've always wanted a loosly based version of one. L sat that because I would do a body lift on mine. and I don't think it is allowed. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

Yea, by the rules it isnt allowed.
Sometime either late summer or so, I'd like to find a nice latemodel or maybe a Thing to lift as high as I can get it, and add a body lift. _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. Since 2004 • |

Check this site for some more pics. You have to kind of wander around if you want to find anything- http://mud.skynetblogs.be/ Here is a taste.
They are a bit intriguing as a style and this may be the way I go with my Oval. Not as a 'real' or 'competetive' Class 11. Just a capable off-roader with DD capabilities. It would be fun, usefull and turn heads. Should ride better than the lowriders, anyway.
