i am thinking about running them on my 73 thing. with the price of centerlines right now, i could afford to have a spare btr with a tire.

IMO...best bang for the buck in wheels. They are fairly indestructable and priced right.

4" all the way around
No beadlocks obviously. Like the look hate the rusty bolts in Hawaii.
No body lift . Like the height, hate the look
Right front hits the headlight bucket under full compression but not the left. I have not cycled the suspension to see why since it only happens when a big person is siting in the pass seat. Not often but it bugs the shit out of me when it does. I gotta do something about it. The Problem with the wheel is it is a centered offset (2" in 2" out) which pushes the wheel out 1" + farther than stock. This creates a rubbing issue and puts unnecessary strain on the car.
so, like the look hate the rubbing.

Moto Chris Congrats, thats the way to own that kinda car. Buy someone elses labor of love, you save a lot of money and now you can make the changes to make it your own. Nice bonus by the way!

Surfarii,

What tire size are you running on those? Do you have any suspension lift or is it stock height? I would love to put those on the Thing I am building up to sell, but I don't really want to lift the car.

thanks
Craig

From what I read his reply was no body lift... I did not see any part addressing weather there was any suspension lift or not. I will double check.
