Need to know what year 901 tranny I have

I have a 901 tranny and I need to know what year it is. I hope someone can help me out. Here are the numbers: Main case 901 301 101 OR
side gear cover 901 301 311 01
Back of tranny 901 301 301 01

The numbers you show are casting numbers. You need to turn the transmission upside down for the numbers you need.

On the bottom of the transmission you will see two sets of numbers along the spline. The first set will look like 901/01 this will identify the transmission type and gear ratio. Close by you will see another set of numbers. This is your transmission's serial number and will look somethingl like:

7193295

7= 6 cylinder (transmission designation)
1= 5 speed (transmission type)
9 =1969 (Model year)
3295 = Sequential serial number
