I recently bought a 74 with no engine. I traded my 72 411 wagon for the engine( valued at $400) and the install was about $500, I realy should have done it myself but my garage is to full to work in right now. It is not quite there yet though. I need to buy some sort of carb setup since the dual kadrons on the engine are shot. Also need a new pressure plate. So grand total should be around $1500 hopefully. Keep in mind that this is a used engine.
Later,
Tyer |

It depends on where you go and what you want. Maybe you should find a good running wrecked Bus. The engine in my '74 is coming out of a Bus with a lot of rust and a tree fell on it. But hey, it ran good!
BTW that whole Bus cost $200! That's not typical though. |
