1998 GTI wheels are 5-lug according to a search I did so I guess they are either not 1998 or normal Golf wheels.

According to the first post in this thread
4-lug Bugs are 4x130mm
4-lug water-cooled cars are 4x100mm
so I don't think they fit.

There is a ten-lug heavy truck wheel adapter that fits the 5 x 205 pattern. I'm not sure if it is GM or Ford.

It's an adapter for wheel balance machines.

VW T1

5 lug VW wheels are 5 x 205mm (<68')
4 lug VW wheels are 4 x 130mm (>68')

- 5 Lug Wheels - 5x205mm
Lug bolts - 12x1.5mm

- 4 Lug Wheels - 4x130mm
Lug bolts - 14x1.5mm

What is the standard length threading of the original bolts? (5x205 and 4x130)?
