|
|
OK, as some of you may know, I've put together an exclusive 'all type-3' calendar, including some amazing pictures of all models, both stock and custom. Most of the pictures are of a beautiful car in front of a beautiful scenic backdrop. I spent alot of time using Photoshop to fix flaws or add certain special effects to the pictures. But now I am looking for some ideas on how to do the writing/logo for the Cover of this calendar. Of course it has to display "2008", "Type-3", and the word "Calendar" I am going to overlay it onto the photo that I think is perfect for the cover of this inaugural pressing. I want some ideas, so feel free to either post them here, or email them to me at [email protected]. I know there are alot of artistic people that visit this forum, so dust off your Photoshop and get creative.
Here is what I came up with, although, I'm sure someone else can do better. Thanks for the help!

Here's a teaser of what's in store for the Calendar... I think everyone will be satisfied! Since January is half gone, here's a lo-res picture of what's in the Calendar! Felt like I was putting together a Type-3 Porn Calendar, which essentially what it was!

I know, I know

If most people thinks my Cover lettering is OK, then I'll run with it. All the other pictures are ready to go. I'll be doing the 2009 calendar in November this year. My brain was a little slow in processing the "epiphany" I had just over a week ago!
This is why I used Jason and Lee's cars for January... their cars have been seen a gazillion times, even though it never gets old. Those cars will go down in the Type-3 Hall of Fame.. hmmm, I think I'm having another epiphany! |

with that cover... are there any 1600s in there? |
Yes its all inclusive-fats, lowered-all. If we didnt do it for everyone then sales would be limited as Im sure alot of you guys would be all butt hurt complaining about "1500 club snobs". This way you can buy a calender with a cross section of all T3s AND cmplain about "1500 club snobs". _________________ Jason "notchboy" Weigel

Sorry Phil, no fatties this year, but I'll include a couple next year...
Actually, you can be the one in charge of getting me those "Fatties in the Wild", so to speak!
* Update: I thought you were refering to Fat Chicks (post 70 cars)! So if you are refering to Fastbacks, then yes, there is one custom and one stock. Sorry for the confusion... can't keep up with the lingo with you young kids these days. Remember that I'm a "Purist" from the Old School!
