not exactly the biggest load but most recent
this grizzly got into the apples that were stacked on the table that night.
knocked all the 15 boxes on the ground and scattered the tarp
- ate - shit and left
he came back the next couple of nights and cleaned every apple even all the crab-apples
big time electric fence next year. _________________ '57 type 1 Blackberry

12 gauge shotshells loaded with rock salt may also help the situation. _________________ nothing |

Love those Hondas!
This was my load this week.
Over 500 kilo of wood for remodeling my garage.
Bus still drove great!
Just had to slow down a bit for sharp corners.

My '59 Single Cab pulled it off again. 36hp! This time with another project I don't have time for, a 1969 Subaru 360 Sedan. Took it nice and slow...

I had a Neo, and will have another one day. The smartest dog I've ever known, and one of the best friends I ever had. |

Not the most exciting load, but packed to the brim with files boxes going from work to storage, each full. Was the heaviest I've felt my bus, even when loaded with camping stuff and 3 people...
(The rear end looks much better with the bumper that's on there now!) _________________ -Adam

Have hauled many large loads in buses and single cab. Here's a few pics of some of my favorites.
This was an 8x12 shed moved about 35 miles. Hung over the bed in all directions.
50 Cinder blocks
6-8foot tables, 60 folding chairs, 2 outdoor propane heaters, 2 propane bottles, 1 empty keg of beer, and 1 empty trash barrel. Just enough room for me to drive.

Seems they used to test airplane wings with cinder blocks before computer s.
You just kept piling them on until the wing broke.;(well maybe sand bags- but whose counting.)
The bus that crossed the country towing my jeep was sold to a stoner who dropped it in a ditch and it split right down the middle length wise. SO there are limits- should have a tread about who loaded a bus past the structural limits. Bet there would be some sad faces in those pics. _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. Some days I just sit.

Hauled 9 x 100lbs of rice yesterday plus my wife, mother in-law, and myself. The bus did really well, 40hp and all.

Maybe not the most Ruf has ever carried.
The top of a big Spruce tree blew off in a huge wind storm we had
so we cut most of it up for fire wood and got two 16 ft. lengths for the saw mill.
The day before I rebuilt the clutch assembly and throw out bearing arm
everything worked just fine

My 63 single topped out with 2.5 yards of gravel over 4500 lbs. It reno'd my house hauling 35 tons of sheet rock. to the land fill. After shingleing the cabin it carried 3600 lbs of old shingles 60 miles home at 55mph. on a 180 clutch. Then went to B'ville and ran a landspeed record, I don't know what Id do without this truck.Pro athletes get millions for a few hours of work. My truck only asks for a drink or two and the odd cookie. _________________ 2010 Bonneville record holder Type 2, 36hp
